Red Bull Air Race - The final
With an arena filled to capacity and a picturesque landscape with a clear blue sky, big green trees and mountains that almost framed the arena , conditions were perfect for the season's grand finale.

The World Championship would be decided among three pilots, all still had the opportunity to capture the top spot on the podium triumph and take the big trophy home, including home favorite Hannes Arch. So the excitement was completely intact before the seasons last race

35,000 fans from around the world had flocked to Spielberg and had settled on the huge campsite right in front of the sold-out engine arena. A large proportion of these were Austrians who especially came to see the local hero Hannes Arch.
